This week we are looking for your best sidewalk chalk art and sharing our favorite board games for a fun Friday night in.

The forecast is calling for SUNSHINE and everyone is calling for some OUTDOOR FUN! So we thought it would be the perfect time to host a sidewalk chalk art contest!
We challenge YOU to create a beautiful piece of sidewalk chalk art. It can be anything that inspires you, inspires others, or just makes you smile.

Then share it with us so that we can share it out for all to enjoy! The most joyful drawing or expression will be crowned the winner and receive a gift card to a local small business that will be the perfect compliment for any at-home budding artist.

Inventory hit an all time low but has started bouncing back. Over the last 3 weeks or so, in almost every one of our markets, we’ve started seeing a meaningful increase in pending / in-contract and new listing activity. Although inventory decreased prices remained strong.

Catastrophes create movement. After 9/11, the market froze in NY for three months, but when it bounced back, it was bigger than ever before. People who were living downtown wanted to move uptown. People who lived in Manhattan wanted to live in other boroughs. It created movement — and this moment will be no different. As businesses begin to re-open, people are ready to re-enter and re-engage with the plans and practices laid out before this started. That means an increase in inventory and more opportunities on both sides of the market.

People have never been so intimately aware of the inadequacies of their home. Do you have enough indoor space? Outdoor space? Bedrooms? Do you have the right home office setup? If the answer to any of these questions is ‘No,’ it’s time to enter the market!

Buyer demand is strong. Buyers are seeing record-low interest rates, and have a sense that now is a good time to get a good price. As we make our way through the next 4-6 months we will start to understand the full impact to the shift in our economy and job market will have on our demand pools.

Summer is the new spring. Summers are normally slower because a lot of inventory sells in the spring, and because many people are on vacations. Not this year. The spring market wasn’t eliminated, it was deferred. That inventory is still going to flow into the fall cycle.
